Sin is imperfection..not just the deadly 7. No one, even after conversion is perfect in the sinless sense.
The stain of sin is forgiven at salvation, but the dual nature of people remains. Having the Holy Spirit but living in a fallen world with a fallen body.
So believers can sin less, be mature in the faith, perfect in the sense of complete faith. But they can't be without sin completely. Hence, the reason for Jesus' all sufficient forgiveness of sin.
Paul exhorts us to do what I, by the grace of God, have done...keep resisting temptation.
Do you ever wonder what God thinks of those who use His word to defend sin ?
1 John 3:4 says sin is the transgression of the law. James 4:17 says that if one knows to do good but doesn't do it, to him it is sin. Romans 14:23 says anything not of faith is sin.
You say you don't sin. Did you love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength every moment today? Did you come across anyone today you could have helped with perhaps money or even a kind word but didn't do it? Did you act in faith in every decision you made today?
The Bible also says we are to do all to the glory of God. Did you eat today? How did you eat to the glory of God? How does one brush their teeth to the glory of God?
Sinning is not inevitable for the Christian. If you are sinning, you are either a phony Christian or are ignorant of Christ's overwhelming power to keep us from sin.

Well the flesh is not saved. And therefore, it is battling against the Spirit in the believer. We are saved but we are also being sanctified daily unto the Lord 1 Thessalonians 4:3, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, . We grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord 2 Peter 3:18.

- We renew our mind by the word of God John 17:15-19
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
- We must pray Hebrews 10:22
- We must guard our thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:5; 1 Peter 2:12
We must allow the work God has started in us to be completed. Sin happens in many ways. our thoughts can be sinful, or our heart can have sin even though our action do not reveal sin in public that people can see. Like unforgiveness hate, anger perversion.
Man, tries to win Gods merit, by what they think they do not do in public; as if God is so impressed with it while you have hate in your heart. Or unforgiveness. One needs time to work those sins out. We must self-examine with the light of the word of God to see if we are in the faith. That is what sanctification does it sets up apart so God can use us and do a work through us HE approves of.
You make the common mistake of mixing purity with maturity. Purity is pulling the weeds out of the garden (they don't grow out) and maturity is fertilizing the plants, so they grow. The word 'sanctify' in 1 Thes 5:23 is in the Aorist tense, which means it is a once done event, not a process. The crisis of sanctification deals a death blow to sin, and the heart is filled with perfect love. One has then a lifetime to grow in Christlikeness.
NO, I am not. I said very clearly the flesh is not saved. Sanctification process are we progress in the Lord. Purity is an action of the person mind heart and body . Maturity is growing the grace and knowledge of the Lord. Which both happen in sanctification. If you are sinless perfectionist. I am not here to debate that. AS the term is not found in the word of God. I provided many scriptures on the topic of sanctification. You pulled out purity with maturity? OK.

. It is very sad many Christians are unaware of these simple things but work so hard to build a streak on not sinning. Its Friday and I have not sinned all week. But the next day you give into the sin . Why? Why is it some things seem so hard to get free from?There are many reasons Most do not want to accept. I know I didn't.
