Hi Mo_mo. Blueletterbible.org is a good website that has many different translations of the Bible. The KJV, NKJV, ESV and NASB20 are just a few that are featured.

(KJV Romans 10:9-11) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

I would recommend that you start out by reading the four gospels. The four gospels in the New Testament are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each of the four gospel writers speak about Jesus’ life, ministry, death, and resurrection. The Sermon on the Mount is one of the best known teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament and is found in Matthew chapters five through seven.

'Your curiosity is interesting not knowing your back ground and how
long you have been associated with your religion.

'The vast amount of 'resources" can be bewildering when choosing
between two different belief systems. I hope you learn what it is your looking for. :)

I would strongly recommend you get a copy of C. S. Lewis' book Mere Christianity. Next to the bible, I think it is one of the best starting places for someone new, or even just curious. It begins by exploring some of our very basic beliefs about being human and then proceeds in an orderly fashion to explore Christianity.

Welcome to CC. May God bless your search.

Hi all,
Muslim here. Just curious about Jesus and christianity . Do you recommend any resources to begin learning from?
Thanks
Is there anything specifically you are wanting to know?

Let me explain.
Christianity as a whole, on a entry level believer status does not require a lot of knowledge.
However, the knowledge base available is almost inexhaustible. There are MANY areas of specialization and each one requires almost a doctorate (PHD) in a specific area to be able to explain some things more clearly.

Now because Christianity values and prioritizes forgiveness and unearned favor (called grace) we generally tolerate people who become confused and believe something different from the rest of us so long as it is a minor thing.
And it must be minor. This is because there is a LOT a person can learn or only partially learn and others be completely ignorant about it.

However, because some aspects of Christianity require specialties in education....and average people are simply people....sometimes forgetful or have incomplete knowledge....I thought i might be able to direct your questions to specific resources. Some people do so well in their particular subjects but then absolutely fail on others.
I'm sure you know all about this from people in your own communities.....some with cultural or family ties to their beliefs. Sunni, Shiite, and Wahabis. All different sects believing themselves to be more right than the others.

So...just ask...we will see what we can accomplish.
