Whatever the shroud of Turin may be, the image does not fit that of the Bible's description of Jesus at his death.

I think it wrong to imagine the wounds on the shroud are dismissed as not being grotesque enough so to fit an Old Testament narrative.
As if Jesus was to be brought out by Pilate after his torture and not at all look human.
This is a grotesque excuse to dismiss the severity of wounds depicted on the Shroud.
Skept8cs have dismissed the Shrouds authenticity for years. But now we can see it is no longer able to be dismissed by skeptics.
Isaiah 52:14 and Isaiah 53, fit the description of those martyred for the faith.

The Shroud of Turin has long been proven to dispell the myths skeptics conjure against its authenticity.
Any number of personal reasons probably.
What's fascinating for me is that it was discovered that photon energy,high powerights saturated the cloth and in what makes the image on the cloth. The image permeates the molecular structure of the cloth material itself.
That's not inls and stencils,like the first myth claimed about the shroud. As in,the image was painted on the cloth.
and, i have saw stories the Shroud had pollen particles on it from greenage that was coming out in and around Jerusalem in early spring..
