He just totally forgot to teach His followers to observer it and totally forgot to put warnings in concerning what happens to those that don't observe Saturday that he totally forget to teach on, is that it?
Do you think the Apostles were being deceived by the devil when they were having meetings on Sunday than?
If so, then the writings in the New Testament cannot be trusted since they came from men who were deceived by the devil.
Are you prepared to say this is what you believe?
Jesus also never instructed anybody to follow Moses either.
You should read the Book of Hebrews where we see that the house of Moses is shut down because a greater than Moses is here now (Jesus Christ) and He is the High Priest now not Moses.
Now, there is a new house, the Body of Jesus Christ! Under the New Covenant that the Lord said would come forth, we see Jesus Christ as the High Priest. The old covenant with it’s laws and regulations have been taken away because thru Jesus Christ a new and better covenant has come in to place.
Hebrews 10:9 - Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.(God said He would make a New Covenant - see Jeremiah 31:31-34)
Hebrews 8:6 - But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.
Hebrews 7:12 - For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Some adherents to keeping Saturday sabbath frequently ask “where did the Lord take Saturday sabbatrh way?”
The answer can be found in Hebrews 10:9 and in Hebrews 7:12.
See Hebrews 10:9 and in Hebrews 7:12
How do you explain away the fact that no place in the New Testament is not resting on Saturday called a sin? And nothing is mentioned about what happens to those that don't rest on Saturday?
The answer is simple, it's not a requirement because the New Covenant is based on better promises meaning we have a better rest that just resting on Saturday.
Hebrews 8:6 - But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
I'll take living in the House of Jesus with the better covenant He brought forth verses living in the house of Moses and that law of sin and death any day.
The claim that it's a sin to not rest on Saturday and those not doing so will burn in hell is false!
The Lord is teaching through the Apostle Paul certainly had a problem with the Galatians who fell from grace to go back to living under the law.
Galatians 4:9
But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
In the passage below the Lord is teaching through the Apostle Paul that there is no such requirement for Christians to rest only on Saturday and those claiming none Saturday people aren't saved and are on their way to hell are in serious error, just like the Galatians who fell from grace to go back to living under the law.
Romans 14:4-6
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
He actually did:
Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and - Bible Gateway
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The burden of proof is on those trying to get Christians to turn away from Jesus Christ and the New Covenant back to Moses and the old covenant which is how the Galatians fells from grace.
Those living in Moses; house wouldn't know because they are under the law of Moses and not under the New Covenant with Jesus as their High Priest
