When Jesus (Yeshua) came, he joined the old and the new, meaning he fulfilled the Old Testament then gave us the (all inclusive) New Testament to live by.

Now, there are universal guidelines laid out for mankind in The Book of Deuteronomy that we should continuously revisit, because the blessings and curses are still in operation today. But it’s the Two-plus-Ten Commandments for us to memorize as a testament that "I have hidden thy word in my heart that I may not sin against thee."

The two commandments Jesus, himself, placed above the ten are "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind," and "You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself."

I was taught the NT is infolded in the OT, and the OT unfolds in the NT.

Those two additional commandments can only be fulfilled with the Spirit of Christ in us.

Many times in Gods book, He tells us to do something that can only be fulfilled in Him.
That can only be fulfilled by faith and faithing, can only be fulfilled by a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender.

In Psalms 23:5, the Hebrew for "you anoint my head with oil," means, you make my head "fat" with oil. A Spiritual fat head.....

1) The scriptures teach, that when God lays His hand on a saint of God, he enters into a circumstantial mess immediately thereafter....

2) God is totally unmoved with prayer not mixed with faith. (Or a continually surrendered life)

1) The tabernacle and the wilderness, are Gods road map and a symbol of God and man in restored relationship after Adam's sin....

2) In the wilderness, the Israelites camped in the sign of the cross....

3) The Christian is a channel, not a depository.....

1) There's no graduation from the schooling called Christianity down here. The Sabbath rest happens up there. Not down here....

2) we can transform ourselves with our memory, but our bodies tether us to the physical world....

3) Sacrificing "self," is the first element of bearing the cross.

1) God the Father draws us into a position, that the only thing that can help us is God, His word, and a continual surrender to both of them. God, His word, and faithing into those two things ( a continual surrender) is the most important thing in life.

2) God and His word are the bread of life

2) When David was anointed with oil, the symbol of the Holy Spirit, trouble followed!!!!

1) Surrender your lives to God and live a life inspired by such surrender, and be God governed....

2) That same life that rose Jesus from the tomb, comes into us...

3) God views our sinful nature as already dead, all we have to do is stop acting like he's still alive and king....

1) We're saved by grace, and known by our works....

2) To who much is given, much is required....

3) Facts in the OT aways symbolize spiritual truths in the NT....

2) Go on to perfection.... We're related to Him now, "follow Him."

3) The manifestation of His presence, comes according to the laws of His Word...

1) The price tag on salvation, is Lordship.

2) Jesus went on to do His job, alone!

3) The toughest part for Jesus was at the end of His ministry, everything before that got Him ready for it.

There are plenty of promises in the Old Testament too, starting with the promise that the Seed of woman would bruise the serpent's head. There is also much about obedience in the New Testament. We only have to think of what Jesus said about people who called Him "Lord", but did not do the things He said. He said to His disciples:

NKJV Jhn 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

1) Paul said, "I die daily." That's how we come to rest at the altar....

2) The test of faith, is when He leaves you, and you don't feel Him anymore....

3) Rom. 8:28, God works together all things. Rom. 8:29, That we might be conformed to the image of His Son.
