In a world where we are connected more than ever, how is it possible to feel so disconnected? Idk, but that’s why I’m here. I have church home, I have friends, but somehow I always end up on the outside— I have never quite fit. My closest friends are wives & mothers, as are the women in my church who are around my age. I don’t fit in with the single crowd either— I am abstinent & newly sober. I like staying home most nights watching old tv & eating ice cream. Dating apps, even the Christian ones, have not produced a single lasting connection. So, what now? Get a cat? Actually, I hate cats. So I guess I’ll be here until I figure out what’s next…
