Dear brothers and sisters,

I am very grateful to God for your presence in my life, for the privilege to know you and for the support you give to us as a family.
It has been a long time now we have many challenges which have gotten us exhausted physically, psychologically and spiritually (since August 2011).
After my mom’s general check out at the hospital, we need your support in prayers. Personally, I feel that this is a period which needs to constantly be covered with prayers from the body of Christ.
Through this Letter of Prayer Request, I seek your commitment to pray for our family and especially for mom.
I have written down what we need prayers on and I would ask to pray at least 5 minutes for each of the things I have listed.
Thank you so much for your commitment in joining us in prayers for our situation.
You are a precious blessing to our family.
Words are never enough to express our gratitude. :)

Prayer Requests

1. Healing of breast cancer.
From a recent check of mom’s breast, there is a new lump and it has spread so far only at the lymph nodes. We seek God’s healing head over her breast because a surgery in her condition (after stroke) is not possible according to the doctors.

2. Normal function of her heart and normal blood pressure.
After staying at the hospital for two days, her heart rhythm and blood pressure was stabilized. Mom has had arrhythmia before and also BP. She just keeps them under control with medication. Pray that will not oscillate because that can cause her a second stroke.

3. Healing over the limps - she cannot move
After an intensive physiotherapy, mom could start walking using a stick and us holding her. But now she needs to gain strength and have a string will to walk on her own. It looks like it is hard for the hand to get back some reflexes. Pray for the hand and less pain in her limps as she exercises.

4. Healing for the speech
We need a specialist for the speech as well. It has been hard to find a good one in Albania. Mom has the capacity to start speaking again but it needs lots of discipline and special techniques. Pray we find a specialist very soon.

5. Pray for tranquility and peace and joy on mom’s heart and mind.
Mom understands everything and even prays together with us (in her own speech).
But there are cases when she gets tired of looking at herself without being able to fully move and getting a lot of medicine. Please pray she will not fall in despair.

6. Pray for our FAITH in our family
It is a hard period where it is required much physical and mental commitment toward mom but also a commitment in FAITH. Sometimes we are that tired that we have no strength to whether pray or worship God.

7. Pray for my dad
It has been really hard for dad to grasp the whole situation considering that they have been sharing their lives together for 27 years now. Please pray that thoughts of the past and future will not trouble his mind and heart and will let him live the present.
He needs prayers to accept the situation and see more of God.

8. Pray for my sister and I
The challenges of the day are enough to guide us to sadness and despair. In Every single moment we take care of mom there is a high bad emotional state engaged but we try not to appear sad or weepy in front of her. We are also trying to manage a house which was run by my mom, but it is never easy to substitute her in doing all the stuff she used to do around the house.

Thank you!

Love in Christ,
El & the family

Hi friends,

Been a while I havent been on here, but I would like to remind you again to pray for my mom.. It's been almost a year now since she had the stroke. We are thankful for the recovery and improvements she's had so far. She can walk on her walking stick and repeat some words (but still not able to talk much really.. And she has so much to say, but can't.. this sometimes upsets her and discourages her.. So please continue to pray for her speech abilities to recover.) Her breast cancer situation remains the same.. there is nothing we can do but pray for that miracle called HEALING and we truly believe that our God is ABLE to do that. Pray that God will provide peace and joy in her heart and mind. Pray that God will take away all the pain she has been having everyday lately on her right side of the body.

The rest of us have tried our best to continue living daily and accepting with joy God's blessings. Although it's hard to experience much happiness sometimes when we see how mom wants to help and she cant always do that.. New beautiful things are happening in my sisters life and mine. Pray for God to provide grace and joy as we recieve His blessings. Pray for dad to continue to be strong, to accept mom's situation, to trust more without worrying and not feel lonely.

Peace, joy, love. Allow all that to fall on us dear Lord. Keep Satan far from us, don't let him discourage us. We will praise and worship You my Lord, we will let Satan know who our God is and how gracefully He reigns in our hearts and lives! You are good my God, all the time! Thank You for Your love! Amen.

Thank you, dear children of God.

Dear child, your spiritual maturity blesses me, and I know your mom must be so proud of you. :)
I prayed before I read on, though the request wasn't new. I am glad to hear your mom is better (walking), and sorrowful to hear the cancer and speech have not improved enough.

Abba, how I thank You for this young woman. I offer you my praise, my Lord and King, because you alone are worthy of it, and because You truly are SO good! I lift this precious family to You, for it is only You Who are able to help. Yet You are able to abundantly help, and Your love cannot be measured by any standard. You ARE the standard, Abba. And no one, not even satan, can thwart your plans and purposes. Thank You, Lord! ♥
Please heal El's mom. And let her know how You love her, and that You have never left her, and never will. I ask that, though she cannot speak well, she will hear You the better for it. Please deal with this cancer as only You are able. Be with El's dad as he adjusts to this new life, and new wife. I ask that You fill his heart to overflowing with Your own love for his wife, to help strengthen him. Bring peace, true peace to this couple and to their daughters.
And, oh, Lord, may there be joy! The joy that makes happiness seem cheap by comparison; the joy that is our gift, and something that just grows out of knowing and serving You.
May we be willing servants, Abba, and joyful ones as we reflect on Who You are, and what You have done, and will do, for us and in us. I pray all this in the Name that is above all, matchless Jesus. :)

I am so glad you updated, dear child.
with love from another

This reminds me of my husband telling me, when I was pregnant with our first, that labor and delivery would be much harder for him than for me. LOL! but true. :)

But we're hanging on to God and trusting. Thank GOD for God in our lives! :)
AMEN! Thank you, Lord! :)

Dear Heavenly Father, I bring El's mum to your presence and I pray and apply what your words says in 1Peter2:24 "Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed" Dear Lord I pray that you remove those cancer cells from her body, remove all diseases that has kept her in bondage in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and allow the healing power of your blood flow through El's mum's body. I pray that you give her a new heart and restore normal blood circulation over her body. Give her back the use of her limbs so that she can be a vessels to bring the good news to the lost world. Restore her speech Lord so that she will declare your glory. Heavenly father I pray for strength and courage over El's dad and her sister, let them all come together in unity in their love for you and for one another. I pray that you shield this family with your blood, love and mercy.
I also pray for all the families on this site that are going through the same trials of sickness and pain that you set them free. I pray that they continue to call upon your name for healing of not only of the physical body but also set them free from the bondage of forgiveness, and any sin that his hindering them from reaching out and claiming the healing that you promise them. I pray that you give them the strength and the courage to uphold each other in their prayers and for them to love and to care for one another. I pray that you bless them with the peace that passes understanding and let them find rest in you through your words.
Dear Lord I pray that El's family and the all the families that are facing similar situation that they will continue to witness to the world about your amazing power of love, forgiveness and healing. I ask all these things in the mighty name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Amen

Isaiah 43:1-5 But now, this is what the Lord says, he who created you, O Jacob. He who formed you, O Israel. Fear not for I have redeemed you. I have summoned you by name and you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God. The Holy One of Israel, you Saviour, I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead. Since you are precious and honoured in my sight and because I love you. Do not be afraid for I am with you.

El, God protected Israel in times of trouble and you belong to God's family and He will protect you and your family in this trouble time. You and your family are important to God and He calls you by name into His family. When you bear God's wonderful name, you must never do anything that would bring shame to it.
Going through rivers of difficulty will either cause you to drown or force you to grow stronger. If you go in your own strength, you are more likely to drown. If you invite the Lord to go with you he will protect you and your loved ones.

May God be with you always.

Sound7 & Risan, thank you so much! You are right - LOVE is the secret of God's healing! I will encourage my mom today with your prayers, and remind her how much the Lord our God loves her! And how she is already saved and protected by the Almighty! I am grateful my whole family knows Jesus, but sometimes life gets hard and its easy to forget His goodness and salvation (Im saying this more for my dad.. he needs prayers to get even more closer to the Lord too, even though he prays together with mom.) You would get amazed to hear how my mom prays, and you would realize even more that what's important to God is what your heart is speaking, really. And the languages of this world don't matter much, for He listens to the heart's language! Thought I'd share this testimony from my mom too. :) She is truly TOO amazing! And we know and have seen how God has used her in this situation for His glory! Cause after all, it is all about HIS glory!

Bless you all! ♥
