I'm a 30 year old man that has 2 beautiful children and had a wonderful fiance. Sometime back in May of this year me and my fiance started running into problems. We stayed together through it but it had been weighing on her since then.

Then the middle of December came around and she decided that she needed some time and space. I have since moved out and moved in with my parents that live just down the road.

I guess it only makes since that I explain exactly what happened. In May we had my fiances sister living with us, she had been there for a long time at that point. We had been trying to get her clean from prescription medications and back on her feet. Well, one night we decided to have some people over and have a few drinks.

I have a history of not being able to quit drinking once I have started. I had one to many beers and then started in on some liquor and ended up blacking out. After that night my fiance and her sister kept telling me that I had done and said some really stupid things throughout the night, including bring up some embarrassing things to one of my neighbors. I had apologized to everyone and thought that was the end of it.

Well a week after it happened we caught my sister-in-law stealing money from my fiance and trying to buy pills with it. We confronted her and she blew up and for whatever reason decided that would be the best time to let us know that I had hit on her the night that we had people over.

It was definitely a curve ball for me because I had no recollection of that ever happening and didn't think I would ever do something like that. Although, I had done it a couple of other times to one of her friends and her cousin. Needless to say I need to lay off the alcohol, which since this separation has happened I have been trying hard to do.

My fiance has explained to me that there are other factors that have affected our relationship including the fact that I haven't had a steady job for a long time and I spend too much time online. I know I have faults and I have done some really bad things but after all is said and done I really truly love this woman and I'm willing to do anything to get her back.

I have depression problems that cause me to have an overwhelming attachment to my family so it's been hard to hold down a job for very long. One of the reasons I have been online so much is that I have been trying to make money for my family. I have made some alright money from time to time but I haven't went about things the right way.

That is something that is actually starting to change for me but I know it has taken way too long and a lot of damage has been done to our relationship because of it.

I know that this was long winded and I'm thankful to anyone who has actually taken the time to read it and made time to pray for me and my family. It means more to me than anything that my family gets back together and that we are happy. Any prayer that I can get is much appreciated. I have nowhere else to turn so I'm hoping God is able to lead my way and see that my family are able to come back together and once again be happy.

My prayer request consist of the following.
  • That I'm able to be the provider I need to be for my family
  • That my fiance's mind can be placed at easy over the incident with her sister
  • That my family can be successfully reunited and happy
  • and That I can be the man that my family needs me to be

Once again thanks to anyone who prays for me and my family, may God bless you all.

I pray that you see the Lord already at work in your life, dear one. :)
He has done so much, and brought you here,
and I thank Him for it!

You and your requests and your little ones
are in my prayers.
Draw near to God...He loves that. ♥
Because that's where we all need to be! :)
