Agree 100%. There have been times I’ve spent six months on an issue before thoroughly fleshing it out. I was taught the ICE method of study. Isagogics, categorical, and exegetical.

It seems that some folks count the verses that seem to support one view, then count the other verses that seemingly speak against that view, and whichever has the most verses wins.
