    Calvinism is Gospel !

I don't know if you are married or not, but if you are: Remember when you were sending out invites to your wedding to all the people who you didn't want to show up? Oh hold on a minute.

    Daniel's 1260 vs. 1290 vs. 1335 vs. 2300 Days

Agreed, and nothing in Revelation even hints at it being years instead of days. Not all premillennialists believe in the pre-trib rapture, that is a dispensational belief but there is also historic premillennialism. I believe it is either 3,5 years or 7 years. Im not dogmatic on it because it...

Was Judas Iscariot saved, or was he not?

He was saved, we know because Jesus said his name was in the book of life: Luke 10:17-20 The seventy-two returned [Judas is one of these 72] with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you...

    The Rejection of Obedience

Gotta be careful with Paul. He uses the word law in different ways. We are not under the law of Moses. We ARE under the law of Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:20-21 To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the Law, I became as one under the Law, though not...

    The Rejection of Obedience

Very good post I have noticed this same thing. The 'not of works' is immediately parroted. What is so perplexing is that nobody in the Bible teaches against works. Not even Paul rightly understood. The controversy was about the believing Pharisees requiring gentile converts to be circumcised...

    Daniel's 1260 vs. 1290 vs. 1335 vs. 2300 Days

On what textual basis do you interpret the 1260 as literal days here and sometimes literal years? There is noo "fantasy" in believing in that 7 year or 3,5 year tribulation. Those are the time lengths given in the book of Revelation itself! How is that fantasy??

    Daniel's 1260 vs. 1290 vs. 1335 vs. 2300 Days

Agreed. But they have to take the two witnesses not as two people, since they view it at 1260 years. I saw many reformers believed the city where our Lord was crucified somehow wasn't Jerusalem where they lay dead. It was either soemthing about the french revolution or Rome... The obsession...

    Daniel's 1260 vs. 1290 vs. 1335 vs. 2300 Days

Is it though? The Bible seems to teach a 7 year, or 3,5 year great tribulation. Not one that spans 2000+ years. You and I are living peaceful lives, where is the tribulation so bad that has never been seen before nor shall be ever again, the tribulation that is so bad that no flesh would be...

The little horn of Daniel 7 and 8

If the 1260 days in Rev 13 are years, what about the trampling of Jerusalem and the two witnesses who witness IN Jerusalem where their Lord was crucified for 1260 days. How can that be years and I remember Adventists teaching "where their Lord was crucified" and great city somehow isnt...

    Daniel's 1260 vs. 1290 vs. 1335 vs. 2300 Days

Fascinating stuff but the two witnesses being in the first century would mean that the 7th trumpet already was blown? Normally historicists put that after the destruction of Rome. So whats this about? Glad to see a fresh perspective on eschatology. Is it really 1260 years from Moses to...

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

I'd agree if it wasn't for such a long time. I just don't see it in Scriptures is what im saying and neither did they. Jesus said He will build His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail and that the Holy Spirit would lead into all truth.

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

I have read it, I am just convinced. What Paul says at verse 39 does in no way get rid of the warning and if you werent commited to this belief system you could see it. Paul has no idea who is going to persevere and who isnt going to draw back. Demas was his brother, then later on in his...

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

Verse 29 says that they were sanctified by the blood but are no longer, now they receive a punishment worse than death and Christ's sacrifice is of no use to them anymore. Just like in Galatians those who wanted to be justified by the law of Moses. Well, this is gonna be a fruitless debate as...

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

You don't have to agree with the man but you can show some respect. I hope we can all agree to disagree on certain things. Does the Bible say you must be a preterist, futurist, dispensationalist, historicist, zionist to be saved? Or does it say you must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved?

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

By Jews I did not mean the Apostles, I wrote that the apostolic interpretation is the correct one. I meant the Jews who rejected Jesus, who embrace what is called judaism, they indeed got it all wrong and continue to do so today. I would agree Paul was premill and futurist but I would dispute...

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

"Fruchtenbaum continues to teach based on what some call a "Midrashic Hermeneutic", his particular focus is on the Judaic background of the Gospels." I think I should pass, the jews got it wrong, their interpretation led them to reject the Messiah so the jewish background isn't of any value...

Does Hebrews 10 say if we willfully sin after being saved there is no more forgiveness?

Nah, genuine faith can be lost based on Hebrews 10:29 "How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?"...

    Calvinism is Gospel !

Thank you. I am just a regular guy who loves to study the Bible and I do talk to people in the highways and byways. If your pastor is a calvinist, he will probably say the counter-factuals were also predestined and God acts within time to accomplish those, He caused David to inquire that etc...
