Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

Yes, i would like to see where the original language is translated with a word that "actually means the opposite." Also, what is your background in Greek?

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

Just a quick note. The first resurrection has several stages as recorded in 1 Cor 15:22, 23. Each group (the Church, the OT saints...) is resurrected in a certain order. Christ is the first fruits of the first resurrection, then those at his coming who belong to him, etc.

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

Yes, on Pentecost they were mostly Jews getting saved. If that is what you meant, then I misspoke. I was looking basically at the first century. I should have qualified my response.

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

The Church is resurrection before the Trib. What you describe above is what happens at the end of the Trib and the Millennium. The Church in heaven is being judged at the Rewards Ceremony (what some call it the Judgment Seat of Christ). Hence, the book of Revelation states of the Bride in...

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

No, not by a long shot. BTW, the separating was not the Gentiles but the Church from religious Jews. That was the schism. Later, the Church itself began to separate from other churches. And, here we are today with who knows how many different churches there are.

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

The Tribulation is a time for the Jewish people to return to the LORD (through national suffering/discipline), and then have each of the covenants fulfilled. Chapter 14 is referring to the Jewish dispensation. It has nothing to do with the Church Age. This is a clear reference to the Second...

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

Are you a Post-Tribber? The reason I ask is because the Post-Trib position holds to a Rapture and a Second Coming, just like the Pre-Tribber. Post-Tribbers believe that Christ comes FOR his bride at the Rapture (they meet in the air), but then Christ immediately returns WITH the bride to earth...

Try reconciling the chart! Try to explain the chart from a Post-Trib position.

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

I have not met anyone (other than a Pre Tribber) who has tried to reconcile the Chart I listed in the OP. Want to give it a try?

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

Yes, true indeed, I think the belief now is that the Tribulation starts when the Antichrist and Israel sign the 7-year covenant.

Here are the differences between the last two prophetic comings of Christ (the Rapture vs Second Coming)

For those who put the Rapture and the Second Coming at roughly the same time, I offer this list of contrasts between the Rapture and the Second Coming. Each number in one section corresponds to the same number in the other section. This is also a list that supports the Rapture happening before...

    Jewish Tithing as recording

Observations on the Jewish people's Mandate Tithing: Definition: Tithing was a system of taxation imposed upon the nation of Israel as part of the Mosaic Law for the support of their government, known as the priesthood. The Old Testament concept of tithing corresponds to our federal income tax...

Husbands can lift a bigger rock than wives can

As another side note, Sarah called Abraham "lord", not "Lord". There is a huge difference 😉. In the Greek NT, KURIOS has several nuances. Some uses in the NT are Lord, lord, father, master, Master, owner, Sir.

Husbands can lift a bigger rock than wives can

Have u noticed that no women have replied to this post ? In our culture, women are very masculine if you ask me. What do you think of Sarah calling Abraham Lord?

Husbands can lift a bigger rock than wives can

Some of my notes from many years ago on First Peter 3:7 First Peter 3:1-7 In the same way, wives, be subject to your own husbands. Then, even if some are disobedient to the word, they will be won over without a word by the way you live, when they see your pure and reverent conduct. Let your...

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

You cannot become a Christian and then a year later start following Satan. The guy in 1 Cor. 5 was sleeping with his step mother. Paul told the Corinthians to turn him over to Satan, but he is still saved.

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

For some reason you believe that a person cannot throw the free gift in the bin? Can you give me one example of this actually occurring?

The problem of the statement of “never saved to begin with”

It's also important to encourage all people who claim to belong to God to see if they really are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? to see if...
