Where in the Bible are we told that the people who lived in Nazareth were particularly holy? All Jews learned the Old Testament laws. The people of Nazareth were not special.

I agree with that. I agree that Josephy was being told that he should marry Mary and adopt Jesus, but not the part oabout the royal bloodline. Jesus had that throne because His heavenly Father gave it to Him, not because His adoptive father adopted Him into a royal bloodline.
