With most of them we started with a simple reversible tote bag to practice straight stitches. Then cooking aprons with a ruffle to teach hemming and gathering. Next I had them pick out a pattern to learn pattern reading, cutting out, and any new skills the pattern may include.

I LOVE front porches! (Yes I grew up in the south) I have so many good memories of snapping beans, husking corn, singing, chatting with friends, suppers, and family time on the front porch. Back porches are fine, but I kinda like to see who's going by on the road lol.

That's great! Which oils do you use? When I don't use Lemongrass face wash, I use a tallow lye bar soap. A friend gave me a bunch of different scents (of course they're scented with essential oils :) )
