Shall we sin that grace may abound?

The sealed, forgiven, saved soul of the believer does not sin. The human nature of a believer does. Look at the stats on believers who access pornography for the brutal truth.

What if repentance is not about feeling guilty, regretful or ashamed? How do you define repentance?

Mathew 24 He who endures to the end will be saved has context of being saved from trials and tribulations. It is a different kind of 'saved' to eternal salvation. Christians also do get their works judged by God, but that isn't about eternal life , but temporal judgment on earth. For...

What if repentance is not about feeling guilty, regretful or ashamed? How do you define repentance?

Justification: Romans 5:8, John 3:16, 3:36, 5:24, 6:40 etc etc Sanctification.. James 2, Hebrews hall of fame of faith.. etc etc.. Eternal life is given at salvation..eternal life..not temporary. The right response then..as per Romans 6 etc.. is to serve Jesus back.

What if repentance is not about feeling guilty, regretful or ashamed? How do you define repentance?

Walking after Jesus following salvation is sanctification, but it isn't justification. Justification occurs regardless of our good works, as a free gift, through the washing and regeneration of the Holy Spirit. Justification isn't sanctification..different things.

What if repentance is not about feeling guilty, regretful or ashamed? How do you define repentance?

The change isn't just being spiritually minded, but believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. He then seals the believer through the Holy Spirit indwelling them. From this point they will then be corrected, taught, empowered by the Holy Spirit and have a new nature, through the Holy Spirit, but...

Shall we sin that grace may abound?

@Freed18 Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness, before he offered up his son Isaac. Job believed in a Redeemer. David believed in a Redeemer. Jesus said ..search the scriptures (old testament) for in them think ye have eternal life.

What if repentance is not about feeling guilty, regretful or ashamed? How do you define repentance?

Yeah, if Jesus forgives a person's sin at eternal salvation...which is all thru the NT, how then can sin..which is forgotten, forgiven..undo eternal salvation? The only way for that to be is if Jesus's work is not enough.

What if repentance is not about feeling guilty, regretful or ashamed? How do you define repentance?

I can be a curious thing when some say you can lose your salvation, but balk at the discipline verses. For eg.. the Mathew 18 process of discipline. Its like 'lose your salvation or you must be completey faithful' no correction, discipline with grace..

Shall we sin that grace may abound?

I've never heard of OSAS believers blaming God for their own sins. Also I'm no calvinist. I don't agree with most of the TULIP. I thought you might alude to the individuals in the church regarding Revelation. The thing is..a luke warm church..so they ALL individually lose salvation? That...
