    Resolving Problematic Interpretations of Scripture

Well, then why do you say things that agree with tulip and contradict MFW?

Was sex Adam and Eve part of the curse

In #36 renewed... said "we should remain silent when God's Word is silent", which is what I responded to in #37.

    Resolving Problematic Interpretations of Scripture

Great! Now we only need to avoid discussing tulip--but that is why we are here. On another thread I had posted what Scripture opposes/this: T – total depravity, meaning souls are unable to exercise sufficient MFW to seek salvation (contradicting Deut. 30:19, Matt. 7:7, 23:37). U –...

    What are you listening to?

Are you as big a fan of Shania Twain as I am? I did not become a country music fan until she came on the scene. Few artists in any genre both compose and perform as many great songs.

I always loved the song musically and appreciated lyrics discouraging drug abuse.

Was sex Adam and Eve part of the curse

Aah! You perceived implication! Do that in every post and we might agree regarding what Scripture reveals.

    Applying God's Word to Politics

Well, I am mainly to blame for this discussion drifting from the OP, so let us get back on track here and those who are so inclined discuss tulip further on the thread for that purpose, which is Resolving Problematic Interpretations of Scripture. Sorry, and thanks. P.S. to OMC, "He offers...

Was sex Adam and Eve part of the curse

Scripture reveals some things/truths explicitly, some implicitly, and some via harmonizing. Both some interpretation and some speculation may be correct and some incorrect, so in order to apply Deut. 29:29 correct discernment is needed. (Life is rarely simple :^)

    Applying God's Word to Politics

The question tulipists prompt is why God would cause only some to be saved (see the previous post). That is what y'all apparently fail to grasp.

    Applying God's Word to Politics

What Scripture opposes is this: T – total depravity, meaning souls are unable to exercise sufficient MFW to seek salvation (contradicting Deut. 30:19, Matt. 7:7, 23:37). U – unconditional election, meaning that souls need not satisfy a divine requirement/condition such as faith or repentance...

    Resolving Problematic Interpretations of Scripture

Seeing no disagreement, I will assume everyone agrees that 1Cor. 3:12-15 may include heretics, if their false beliefs are unintentional or due to ignorance of the full Gospel/Christian Creed, which could be the case for new and spiritually immature converts.

    Applying God's Word to Politics

In case unbiased readers see this, I hope they understand that tulipists say some sinners are denied the ability to repent, but God elects to favor a few others with forced faith.

Was sex Adam and Eve part of the curse

God knew the entire human race would sin and be cursed/justly punished. We should not try to excuse our sin by blaming A&E or Satan. God's plan included a way to be saved. Yay!

    Apologetics: witnessing to atheists

I met atheists who had a negative concept of God when I debated them at a meeting of the Atheists of Austin many years ago, which prompted me to focus on God's righteousness when witnessing to them after that, and tulipism paints God as unloving and as showing favoritism, which is NOT...

    Applying God's Word to Politics

In 2018 Iran was enriching uranium for making nuclear weapons, and we had no idea how far along they were because US inspectors were not allowed in all sites, but we now know they were far along in developing missiles and drones--much more than we have Patriots and lasers to defend against them...
