They Need to Hear (more than ever)!

There has always been a lot of static on the line about Christians and sexual desire, as long as I've been alive anyway. From what I hear the last time it was crystal clear was back in the late 1950s. Then we got hippies, then we got disco, then we got all the junk of the 90s...

Anyone here ever been to tent revivals?

Well... yeah, by default. If you don't got God, you need SOMETHING to help you cope with life.

Where to find Christian women 30-40

Then you're in luck because this is THE chill forum. Singles Forum has evolved over the decades into the default place for Christians - single and married, because some of us got married and we didn't have the heart to kick them out - to hang out and chat.

Now if you leave out the tent... Yeah I'm a Pentecostal. I've been to many revival services.

Anyone here ever been to tent revivals?

I saw one once, but only as a nostalgia thing. The elders were reliving their youth. Nobody does brush arbors anymore either. Mostly it's a matter of air conditioning. Tents and brush arbors don't have it. Also around here mosquitoes are a factor to consider. We'd all rather be inside a building.

Where to find Christian women 30-40

First, howdy and welcome to the forum. Second, if you're here to find a date you probably won't. If you're here to hang out and chat with some friendly people... You might wind up with a date. Don't ask me how that works, but it seems to work like that here.

Why Are So Many Christians Still Single?

The two primary actors in this play made this conversation their idol many posts and a few threads ago.

In 2026, Is It Still Acceptable To Use the Term "Colored" When Describing Human Beings?

Ain't a thang in the world wrong with honky tonk. I got some honky tonk music in my collection. Christian, but honky tonk style. Or for something a bit more old style honky tonk...

Hehe. You must be new here. She knows more about the Bible than even I know. I'm usually the one who asks questions in Bible trivia, but when she's around SHE asks the questions.

Engineer comedian, one of my favorites. I'm always glad to see him post a new bit on youtube. His bit about getting out of a traffic ticket by citing change of star color as you approach it... It takes a bit of explaining, but it's funny enough that I recount it to people anyway.

In 2026, Is It Still Acceptable To Use the Term "Colored" When Describing Human Beings?

Hmm... I'm reminded of a story about Sherlock Holmes - a BRITISH detective - and The Adventure Of The Yellow Face. And nobody has anything on the middle east for racism. Everybody hates everybody over there. As for drinking and driving, the Irish beat us fair and square at that. And the...

These days I have just so very much free time. I quit my job to take care of dad until he gets his second artificial foot and - literally - gets back on his feet again. I think youtube has run out of stand-up comedy specials to give me. It has started giving me reruns a lot.

I remember a british comedian talking about going to... Russia, I think... for a stress relief outing where you can whale on a car with a sledgehammer, then drive over it with an actual tank. (They did not let him fire the tank cannon though.) "And I know what you're all thinking - the only way...

I wonder what the upkeep is on one of those things... Do they get smashable stuff at auctions and thrift stores? Or do they get it wholesale, in bulk?

Well it's a BDF insult. Still not much effort put into it, but pure BDF. I'm sure you can do better though. Come on, dig deep and give us a good zinger!

I've been here since 2014 so my friends know that's not true. You don't know me so nothing you say about me matters. Now if somebody who knew me said that, I would take it seriously and start introspecting, maybe see if there's something I should change. Oh... By the way... What a cracker...
