Could AI usher in the tribulation?

I don't know the answer. I will say that AI appears to be the ultimate goal of Humanism. Clues to how YHWH considers humanism can be found in the stories of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. I believe He will again thwart man's effort to elevate ourselves above Him. I have no clue how.

I’m trying to reconcile what scripture says with the common belief that abortion is murder. Can anyone point me to scripture that builds that gap?

I have. You are correct. in this case the sacrifice was to Molech the pagan god of fertility (wealth and ease). The very definition of "Convenience Abortions".

I’m trying to reconcile what scripture says with the common belief that abortion is murder. Can anyone point me to scripture that builds that gap?

Lev. 20:1-5 This is, to me, the clearest statement that sacrificing children for personal benefit is prohibited. I don't think it can be any clearer than this.

    Not Christian but curious

I would strongly recommend you get a copy of C. S. Lewis' book Mere Christianity. Next to the bible, I think it is one of the best starting places for someone new, or even just curious. It begins by exploring some of our very basic beliefs about being human and then proceeds in an orderly...

    Is this true and biblical?

After prayerfully studying the responses to my OP, the following conclusions become apparent. God’s desire is for all to be saved. There are two common ways to salvation identified: General Revelation – God’s law is easily identified by the natural world. Special Revelation: - God’s law...

    Is this true and biblical?

I posted this a couple of days ago and I think it got buried in the stack. When I was little this issue was the major complaint my father had against the church. He could not accept sending millions to hell who had no chance to meet Christ.

    Is this true and biblical?

“Is it not frighteningly unfair that this new life should be confined to people who have heard of Christ and been able to believe in Him? But the truth is God has not told us what His arrangements about the other people are. We do know that no person can be saved except through Christ. We do...

    False Teachers

I have no argument with this thread but will add a note of caution. Many believers have been tarred and feathered with "False Teacher" for questioning church doctrine. It's the easiest was to quite those seeking answers. Decide or yourself where the most harm is done.

That's what I would have said if I could. Amen brother!

How Do You Tell the Difference Between a REAL Christian and a FAKE Christian?

    C. S. Lewis has a better way: "Every now and then one meets them. Their very voices and faces are different from ours; stronger, quieter, happier, more radiant. They begin where most of us leave off. They are, I say, recognizable; but you need to know what to look for. They will not be very...

The Reality About Alleged Alien Sightings (UAP)

I have seen nothing in these declassified files that lead me to believe this hoax. I really have to wonder why they were "classified" in the first place. Opening these files exposed the truth.

    Prayer Warrior

All glory to God who loves his children without reservation. Once or twice He has spoken to me directly, just like your experience, but more often He speaks to me in soul whispers. When I began to understand Him through direct encounters, I could then begin to hear and trust His whispers. I...

    Day of Judgment’s Suddenness

"Judgment reveals what I wasn’t willing to accept, a terror that had always been." Regardless of your belief about "The Rapture" or Christ's harvesting of the earth, few have really considered the pain and terror that will also come to believers. Many will be lost, a few will not, but surely...

    Revelation

I was thinking about the content rather than the name. There are multiple "disclosures" in the book of Revelation. I will try to be more cautious but I have always been the kind that can't see the trees for the forest.
