    Looking for insight.

There are some significant "crumbs" mentioned in Matthew 15:21-28 that the church usually sweeps quickly under the rug. It's not that difficult to understand but doesn't meet the narrative. It's repeated on Mark 7:24-36.

It is time to rethink Sola Scriptura?

This is a trick question. Would there be a difference? Yes, a big one. A very small number of the 100 Christians will be true believers and easily identified by behavior. A few more will be believers in the making; not yet perfect but working on it. Maybe there will be some unchristian...

It is time to rethink Sola Scriptura?

I fully agree, God's "prosperity" is not about wealth but it is about His abundance. The modern "Prosperity Doctrine" is really a Wealth Doctrine" which does require selective scripture.

It is time to rethink Sola Scriptura?

If all know sin there would be no sin. One cannot know what sin is and keep doing it; although they can redefine it to their own terms and keep truckin' on!

In Search of the Real Jesus

Please do not take this wrong, it is sent with care and compassion. You appear to be a person who has been totally mislead in your Christian teaching; if indeed you really believe what you wrote. Your views are the end result of the modern Christian Church preaching from the Second Testament...

In Search of the Real Jesus

Your post is very interesting, I agree with much but it does bring up some interesting questions. What is the basis for your statement that Jesus…is the founder of free quality education for the common masses? While I understand your view point, I struggle with your statement that Jesus views...

I'm wondering if anyone here has information about apopatic faith and apopatic biblical interpretation. I'm interested in learning more.

    Ineffable Redemption

My post was not about circumcision. Although I know this is diverting the intent of the OP, I will respond. God's covenant with Abraham was given to him and his descendants, not to gentiles. That was Paul's point. His statements were addressed to Jewish converts to Christianity. Paul did go...

    Ineffable Redemption

How can an "everlasting covenant" made by God no longer exist. That turns God into a liar.

Faithful to the covenant. In a word, righteousness before God. I believe that is what Judaism pursues.

    Ineffable Redemption

I do not believe faithful Jews are going to hell. Many apparently disagree. I do not seek to change anyone’s opinion but here are my issues. YHWH made an everlasting covenant with Abraham to be “…God to you and your descendants after you in all their generations.” This covenant was made...

    A Question on Works...

I really don't have a problem with those who choose not to see. It is those who do not take the time to read who cause me grief. I understand the difficulty in explaining difficult ideas in written words. That is where CC is so valuable. I really try to work on that skill when I post. If...

    A Question on Works...

I agree with you and did not say anything contrary. Several posts have indicated I was preaching salvation by works. Where did that come from? My post was only about those who preach the First Testament laws have been nullified by grace. I am beginning to believe the label “salvation by...

    A Question on Works...

Yes, that is exactly my point. Those who claim the old covenants are works that have been abolished, and replaced by a new covenant of grace, are denying God his throne. The church has replaced YHWH with a false god that makes no judgements or demands, and dispenses cheap grace (grace without...
