Trusting in God vs Trusting what God does

I agree. I'm not liking where my congregation is headed either... People are complaining the service is too long and we're only gonna do group study like once a month now... ugh... Like, no one is forcing you to come or even stay. You think its too long, there is a door. You can walk out of it...

Trusting in God vs Trusting what God does

Very true. How can you say "I know Him" without actually feeling like you have a relationship with Him? I don't think faith would last without it. Very good point!

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

I do, but both Father and Son dwell in spirit since that is what Jesus said (John 14:23), there isn't another being listed. I mean, there's a lot of reasons why I believe duality, but that's just 1 instance. That's incorrect. That's Orthodox. We believe our earthly Temple will be set up by...

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

I'm Messianic. Although I had that belief before I changed to Messianic. I grew up non-denominational. There's people in my congregation that are trinitarian, so I don't think it's a denominational thing.

Could AI usher in the tribulation?

The reason for the tribulation period is peoples sin to the point God enacts judgement. AI is just a tool. Another means to be cruel, mean, manipulative, greedy, etc... I don't think AI within itself can usher in anything... it's people and the worlds evil that causes the tribulation period.

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

While I don't believe in the trinity, my belief is duality. The Holy Spirit is The Father, I do agree with the Hebrew link to Jesus.

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

Yeah, here's an example from The Scriptures: Personally, I'd rather have that if I'm honest.

    Sin daily?

Then why are they done during the Millennium? How can you be "heir to the promise of Abraham" and yet disregard the fundamentals that God instituted? You need the law in order to walk in light. How do you know what is good unless you know what is wrong? It's literally in the brackets...

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

I know KJV is very popular, but I like Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) or The Scriptures by Institute for Scripture Research. Both are word for word translations. I just find the word choices for translations are more closer than KJV is. And I like how they keep the original name instead of just...

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

The main ones which are word for word, absolutely not. If you're reading from a paraphrased bible or easy reading, sure. But I wouldn't say "a lot" are just translated from english...

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

Thats not true. There's different Hebrew and Greek texts. Depending on the translation, depends on what the version is translating from. But it's not a translation of a translation. It's different surviving texts. Every translation is translating from Hebrew and Greek... but different...

Man imputed Jesus with sin on the cross, not God.

Grace and forgiveness of sin is a gift. By definition, a gift cannot be imputed. You're putting something on someone that has no say when something is "imputed". So no, man/humans cannot "impute" sin to God.

looking for help reconciling the Sabbath with common observation?

The sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday and it's not any day of the week you wish it to be. It's the 7th day as God said in Genesis and was never changed until Constantine wanted to merge the worship of the sun god Ra on the "day of the sun" ie: Sunday. Following the law in general has benefits...

    Sin daily?

All the morality laws + Feasts. Same answer to both. When it comes to dietary restriction, I highly recommend it because there are beneficial reasons for it (not just health wise since God considered some people unclean depending on what they ate, so righteous too) but if someone wants to follow...

Trusting in God vs Trusting what God does

Sounds like great instances where God used you. I was hoping to hear something from the other way around though. Personal instances of God being there for YOU in a personal way when you needed it. I'll give a personal example of mine. I tend to rarely get into this stuff, so I won't go into...

    Sin daily?

I don't think you understand what the word "proof" means. Proof is not "reliance". My reliance, is on Christ who not just took the penalty of the broken covenant, but also helps me follow Him. I love Him, and since He is King, I will obey. You can choose not to, that's entirely up to you. To...

    Sin daily?

Never? Post 296. That's at least one of the times I went very specific with what salvation is. Maybe you missed it. I know I mentioned it before that, but there you go. Your answer doesn't include Matthew 7:22-23. It actually ignores it. Because your entire salvation stance is belief in Christ...

    Sin daily?

Let me ask you something, how can you be a changed person without following the law? If you still lie, steal, cheat, bear false witness, take the Lords name in vain, curse, speed, covet, treat your neighbor poorly, don't give anything to God, don't help the homeless, the widow or orphans. Don't...

    Sin daily?

The word alone is within the context of the word "justification" when in reference to the law. I gave you the definition. So I guess there's no further point discussing this because we're going in circles when you aren't using the word correctly.
