    Sin daily?

Perfection incorporates being sinless, its not absent of it. So be perfect as the Father is, incorporates love and maturity but again, doesn't negate sinless because the Father IS sinless. And no, true "sinless" isn't being God. God incorporates more than just his status of perfection. He's also...

    Sin daily?

Yes, in title not power. The Holy Spirit dwelled within Him while he was on earth, this is why he routinely said the Father was greater than Him and said His power came from the Father. Christ, while here, was a perfect example of humanity and how we are with God. He is an example to us all...

    Sin daily?

I gave the example before, Christ was fully man and was perfect. So the idea that no one can be perfect, is incorrect. Christ proved that's incorrect. He isn't suddenly in some separate category, he was 100% man and 100% perfect. Since God calls us to be perfect, that means its obtainable.

It's not perfect tense... because teleioi is an adjective, not a verb in the perfect tense. And yes, teleios can carry the idea of completeness, but that does not mean “mature but still sinful.” The context determines what kind of completeness Jesus is talking about. Jesus says, “You shall be...

    Sin daily?

So you think that if someone believes they cannot be perfect, they at the same time can be perfect? If you think as an artist, you cannot get better than you already are, you're saying you would attempt to get better anyway? That's cognitive dissonance. Psychologically, no one does that. You...

    Sin daily?

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. - Matthew 5:48 Anyone who says perfection is impossible is content in producing more sin. I'm not saying that it isn't a process, you don't just suddenly stop sinning, but to think that perfection is impossible...

    Sin daily?

If you believe Jesus was fully man when He was on earth, then He's the perfect example than man can be perfect. Him being God in the flesh doesn't take away from His humanity, otherwise you're saying He wasn't fully human.

    Replacement theology? Yes or No.

Not all prophecies are 1 and done. Example: In Matthew, Jesus is referencing Daniel about the abomination that causes desolation. Daniel is referring to the invasion and the fall of the 2nd temple which happens in 68-70AD. But notice what Jesus says: Duplicated prophecy that repeats. First...

    Replacement theology? Yes or No.

To simplify what it means: the guests represent everyone who is invited to and participates in the wedding. The marriage itself is a symbolic picture of God’s covenant relationship with Israel being finally restored and made permanent. So it's not 2 different classes like bride vs guests of...

It also creates a huge problem if you resurrect people at the beginning of the trib just for the rapture since the resurrection comes first (1 Thessalonians 4:15). You then have all those trib saints that died and all those martyrs that died. There aren't 3 resurrections, theres only 2. So...

It's the first of it's kind in a resurrection, like what Lovette said, it's the first mass, global resurrection. Not a resurrection in general. When people resurrected when Christ did, it was isolated to that area only.

The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?

Telling me I don't have the Holy Spirit, or telling me I don't believe in Christ or follow him, is not the behavior that Christ wants us to have just because I pushed back on your following a false prophet. You made leaps and bounds about my personal beliefs towards God that I never made or...

Advice Needed: Should I get involved?

I appreciate your opinion, but I don't need a recording. There are other witnesses that I can name if necessary. It just seems like I'm the only one willing to say something though and the rest of the people just are used to him being him so to speak. Maybe they aren't aware of the level of...

Thoughts on Hebrews 6:4-8 - Falling Away

Agreed. And notice what comes first before God prunes the branch? It withers. That's not like sinning a few times but you're struggling, that's a clear rejection of God. Obedience produces fruit. It's not some magical thing that you profess belief in Jesus and suddenly you're more loving, kind...

Israel is currently spiritually lost, but God is in the process of gathering, and changing them (parable of the fig tree). We look at a fallen Israel right now and think God isn't with them, but He's doing this to keep His word and for Himself, not because the nation is holy... Loads of times...

Interestingly, a lot of Orthodox don't take the story of Job as literal. More like a parable with a point.

The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?

You know, its instances like these that really bring out the hypocrisy. I call you a fool for following a false prophet and automatically you state I'm not saved. Arrogance doesn't make you correct. It just shows your lack of the good kind of spiritual fruit. I think you need to do some praying...

    Being "nice"

You don't have to interrupt, but you can go up to the preacher afterwards and speak. Or if you encounter a street preacher or people on these forums. There are also "sermons" that people post on these forums, its not all just discussion. And remember, an ordained minister is just someone who...
