The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?

Still do not see the word believers! Please make it bold size 24 font. My poor eyes must have gone right by it. . .

The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?

John 6:39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. Which are we to believe to be correct? I think both are truthful. However, I believe what you quoted is mentioning those who have faith in themselves, not...

On the other hand, if we had the ability to keep the law, we would not need a Savior!

The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?

I do not think that there is anyone here who does not believe that the commandments which were given are to be ignored or set aside. God has never commanded us to do anything which is not good and important. But, what we must understand is that there is no one able to keep them and our God...

The Ten Commandments are the Covenant, did you know?

I agree! Just as Peter discovered [while walking on water], perfect faith is unattainable until we are made like Jesus. And just like Paul, we all have a thorn in our flesh to remind us of our weakness. We still need to repent for our failures and believe that we can only be found perfect in Him.

Speaking of attributes, most people on this site I can disagree with and still be friendly. But, you are like something lying along the side of the road that I would be most careful to step over. [think bubble gum]

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

Can a sinner just say “I don't like the sound of Hell and eternal punishment, I want to go to Heaven to avoid punishment”. He/she says that of their own free will, so according to Fwers that is all that is needed!. They need nothing more than their own free will to determine what must happen...

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

God has always proclaimed that He will have mercy only on those of His choosing. But, as I can see, you believe that He must be an equal opportunity Savior for all mankind. If He does not save all, then He is unfair in your eyes. In that case, the entire Bible should be re-written because it is...

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

Well, you certainly got some things correct, we were once dead in trespass and sin! And, the call, does in fact, go out for all to hear. Creation itself proclaims that we have a creator and leaves all men without excuse. However, men are unable to hear/believe/trust in God without being made...

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

I have to admit that my post saying that God creates some for destruction was not correct. He has no need to do that! However, He creates them knowing that He will not provide them with the grace needed for salvation. Therefore, they will self destruct.

Can We Really Exercise Free Will?

There you go again, trying to drag God down to the same level as man! God is not man no matter how much you try to make Him like us. He is not only able to create men for destruction, but has indeed done so. At the same time, that does not mean that He takes pleasure in it. Our ways are not...
