The one and the same or not?

That's my point why test / ask what is and should be already be known about his creations, and how they will behave?

The one and the same or not?

So the all knowing God who it's written knows us even before we leave the womb had doubts about Abraham faith or trust needed to test him?

The one and the same or not?

A very very interesting reply John. When you say future things not being known until the decision is made. Who do mean is the one needing to make the decision. Man or God?

The one and the same or not?

Hi Billy Bob, I think that passage relates to us mortal human beings, and not to an All knowing and seeing God.

The one and the same or not?

That looks absolutely sounds good to read but I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say what 'he said was was absolutely perfect'. Can you explain this a bit more please. Thanks.

The one and the same or not?

Hi Bluto, thank you for your view. I can only repeat the question that if you know something 100% to be so; then why the need to test it or them. Bit like saying let me test if a cup will fall to the ground if you push it off a high table surface. You wouldn't need to test this as you already...

The one and the same or not?

If you KNOW something 100% then why the need to test it? If you KNOW 100% that a match will burst into flames when stuck against a hard rough surface, do you need to strike the match to test it?

The one and the same or not?

God knows Abrahams heart: Then again why the need to test him if he already knows the outcome? Notice that it says that God says for NOW I know, and not for now YOU know.

The one and the same or not?

Because in every situation, the words.... NOW I know ....indicates uncertainty or not knowing something beforehand .

John 4: Go, call your husband

Hi WH; that is the most brilliant and speculative answer I never expected to receive! It raises other questions about God and Jesus, but none the less, it a wonderful reply..

John 4: Go, call your husband

Hi Gideon; Can you explain or speculate the purpose of going through such motions when Jesus would already know the answers to, and all outcomes ?

The one and the same or not?

Genesis 22:12 says, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for...NOW... I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me”. HOWEVER:..... Matthew 26:34 in the Bible says, "Truly I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows...

John 4: Go, call your husband

Or a bit like winding up a toy car for it to go in a certain direction?

John 4: Go, call your husband

I really can appreciate and understand that answer MF, and until recently would have given the same answer. I however don't now think it's a simple matter of this woman being requested to ' go call her husband' is just for test purposes. If we believe that Jesus knows all and everything...

John 4: Go, call your husband

Why you think Jesus asked the women this question if he already knew? Just to pass the time! John 4: 15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.” 16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.” 17 “I have...

    Welcome everyone to me

I'm sure you have come across or heard people who claim to be devote in their faith but on close inspection, their deeds prove otherwise. I do however observe certain things / events that I do question, and which it would be interesting to discuss to hear others take on things so stay tuned.
