On the outskirts one could say Paul was deluded but no, because every word that we have in the Bible is from God Almighty, in other words he crafted the Bible like this to make people think that the Bible cant be trusted and apparent contradictions.
You are going to find many people who hold fast to the 7th day sabbath and others to the first day of the week being the sabbath. You are just going to have to study a lot and pray on this subject.
If speaking in tongues is for the edification of the church body, then should we not make some kind of amend and put in the Bibles we have now for the church body.
I am not diminishing the problem I clearly said that is the problem with many languages. For example in Spanish you have the word antiyer which when translated into English and how it is used is a long phrase in the English language. What I was pointing out was the fact that God chose that word...
That can be said for any language. But to say that the apostles had a hard time is not accurate especially knowing that these are God’s words, God gave these words for them to write down not of themselves.
Here in lies the problem in that you are implying the apostles used their own words to express their ideas, that they put in the Bible. This idea is completely wrong according to 2Pt. 1:21.
Unfortunately those who hold fast to the idea that one can lose their salvation are usually the ones that do not understand how salvation works and who actually does the saving.
That is a great point in that in order to lose something we had to have it beforehand. Unfortunately that is looking at it from a humanly perspective and yet when God says whom the Son sets free is free [Jn. 8:36]. When he sets us free we are free from the bondage of Sin, we have become a Child...
It is no different than that of Easter which to happens to be a pagan ritual also would it not ? And yet all kinds of religions celebrate
this day as he was resurrected from the memorial tomb I suppose you do not then.
In water probably not but with water without a doubt. Remember that Christ spoke in parables and with that in mind what does water have to do spiritually. I believe you know that it has to deal with the word of God and without the word of God not one person can become saved / baptized.
The Bible that most people use does not even remotely use the phrase “Discreet and Slave Class” unless you have a NWT and if I’m not mistaken it does not even use that phrase either. I would be calling this propaganda.
The question at hand here is not how they are made alive but rather who are the ALL in Christ.
Likewise when the Bible says ALL of Israel will be saved. Will ALL of Israel be saved ? Of course not only a remnant will be saved. [Rom. 11:26, 9:27]
Just these two verses here alone throws out...
