Poll Regarding Paul & Romans 7

I consider it the post-salvation struggle with sin that all saved people have. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit...

    THE LITTLE CHILDREN OF GOD

There's no mention of baptism in that verse.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

God didn't choose people to be "in Him"; He chose people in Him to be holy & blameless.

    Hebrews 6:4-8

The passage isn't saying that you can't repent. It's saying that "we" (verses 1-3) can't renew you again to repentance by laying again the foundation. It's something the writer of Hebrews can't do; not something you can't do.

Who sinned first Human or Lucifer?

Notice the present tenses: Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: (It doesn't say "always was". I know you agree that the earth was created). 'Throne' implies dominion. Only God existed in eternity past, so there was no one or...

Who sinned first Human or Lucifer?

He's a created being, so his fall has to be after creation and before Eve sinned.

How Many Chances to Get Saved Does God Give People Living in the State of Actual Sin?

1 The spirit came in childhood And pleaded, “let me in,” But oh, the door was bolted By thoughtlessness and sin; “I am too young,” the child replied, I will not yield today, There’s time enough tomorrow, The spirit went away. 2 Again he came and pleaded, In youth’s bright happy hour, He called...

How Many Chances to Get Saved Does God Give People Living in the State of Actual Sin?

The number of chances is not given in Scripture. God gives each individual the "sufficient" number of chances that that person needs. If he dies and lifts up his eyes in hell, he knows he has no excuse.

If you were put on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you.

But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. 4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. 1 Cor 4:3-4 (KJV) :-)

Lost salvation or name not in the book

The way to know you're saved is to trust God's word: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life ... John 3:36 (KJV) It's that simple. Every saved person's name is in the Book of Life.

    Not Attending Church

That passage is talking about the body of Christ, not a local church. A person who is separate from the body of Christ is someone who has never been saved. I don't think a local assembly is ever referred to as a "body" in Scripture.

    Are gifts evidence of salvation?

It's possible that they got saved upon hearing Peter's account of Jesus (faith comes by hearing); they were "pricked in their heart". 'Repent' could be 'turning' from not being baptized to being baptized. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to...

    Are gifts evidence of salvation?

' Eternal salvation for the sinner is the same in all eras of human history: by grace, though faith, not of works. That includes Hezekiah and the thief. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. Gen 15:6 (KJV) And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify...

    Are gifts evidence of salvation?

No. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matt 7:22-23 (KJV) Though I...

Verses about how God sees our heart, not our appearance

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Prov 31:30 (KJV) Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. 26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress...
