    Faith crisis

I'm going through a very difficult time and I cannot see my way through it. I would very much appreciate prayers. I am a born again believer whose faith is being rocked by grievous trials.

    CRA Christians in Recovery (anonymous)

Good stuff and I can relate to this. However, I'm wondering if the above author believes we continue to be powerless even after recovery and the tools we are given are only successfully utilized by God's enabling grace?

Maybe my Sins are the reason why. Help me!

Have you ever felt the Lord's presence in your spirit? If you have and are walking obediently in the Word of God, then you are going through a dry season in which, if you have been born again, God has not left you, but is working in you, although you may not feel His love presently. I am a...

Maybe my Sins are the reason why. Help me!

As to your assertion that the spiritual life has nothing to do with feeling, I sure disagree with that. The Lord made us to have feelings, not to be robots. King David was always expressing his feelings in the psalms. To the original poster, thank you for your poem. It ministered to me very...

What is your BEST PROOF for a pre-trib Rapture?

Who is going to populate the earth in the millennium? Christians who have endured the tribulation and saints whose bodies will be resurrected at His second coming which I believe is at the end of the trib. Christians who remain, glorified bodies in a twinkling of an eye, caught up to meet Jesus...

What is your BEST PROOF for a pre-trib Rapture?

I don't have proof to give for it, but if any are interested, here is an excellent article giving solid reasons why we should not expect to be raptured before the tribulation from a premill stance...

    Father-love

Thanks, I hear you. I really do. It may not sound like it, but I am trying to work through this. Although it's been quite messy.

    Father-love

Yes, I need to take a hardline stance with my thoughts when they find fault with God's doings in my life. But we are not robots. When we are being crushed in this life, we hurt, we cry out, we question a Father's love that He could allow such pain in His childrens' lives. Like a song I know...

    Father-love

In other words, to bring your thoughts into obedience to the mind of Christ. Therein is the struggle. Am I going to cling to my feelings in my trial or stand in the Word of God?

    Father-love

There have been many times in my life that I have struggled to accept that God loves me, especially in times of sustained trial and affliction. I know the Bible well and I understand that tribulation is guaranteed to the Christian, but I still falter in the fire. Just being honest.

WHAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN MUSIC BLESSES YOUR HEART?

Hi Paisley, I am also a fan of Christian music that reaffirms God's love for me. My favorite artists are Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Tenth Avenue North, Crowder, Matt Redman, some Hillsong. New on my radar is Elevation Worship. I also like music that exalts and praises the Lord of which a few...
