That's one reason i probably wouldn't ever get a dog, even though some of them are great and that make excellent pets and companions, the smell seems to stick around. That's another bonus about cats, they can be outside much of the time and are more independent.

That sounds like the best bond that anyone could have with cats in particular when they choose to adopt you. Sounds awesome, hope that happens to me what I've moved away from here and settled. 😀 What kind of critters do you get there? Living in the country sounds so much better than in a town...

The world likes to label, judge, put you in a little box and keep you there. I believe it's a defence mechanism, keeping them from acknowledging the fact they are just as flawed and no better than anyone else. All the best to you both.
