I'm given to understand that the ancient Hebrews were given instruction of God for the manner of sacrifice. If they followed His instructions exactly, it would involve putting their hand somewhere. That's what I'm trying to find in scripture. Was it their hand to their own head or hand on the...

Nor can I find anything but in searching I may not use the correct terms so I miss finding it. Makes sense to me, though. He has said that he wouldn't return for his church until all nations (people) had heard the gospel do that everyone would have a chance to repent.

Respectfully, 1t's something I need to know. The souls who were there before Jesus and His new covenant, I think, would have received the chance to repent.

I need either verification or refutation on this. I've heard that during the time that Jesus' body was entombed, He went to Hades to give a chance to those who had died before the New Covenant. I can't find this in scripture but it sounds plausible. Thanks for any insight on ths.
