    Predestination is misunderstood...

No problem, stuff happens. Agreed, meditating on the word always finds interesting things cropping up. :)

    Predestination is misunderstood...

I don't think I said that. As far as I'm concerned the "sons" are those who relate to those teaching that Jesus is doing the works of the Devil. We most likely need someone well versed in Greek grammar and syntax to see whether the demons or the sons are the subject of verse 19.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

Based on your post you linked to, it appears people think the "your sons" are Jesus' disciples because of the judgment that follows but I always saw that passage as it was the demons who would judge the false teachers (the ones accusing Jesus of doing the devils work). Luke 11:19 19 And if I...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

I agree. I see no Church in Revelation apart from the letters or during the Great Tribulation so why are you arguing against God removing the Church from the place of judgement (ie. Earth)?

    Predestination is misunderstood...

He was in the ark, not the rain and unless you think his workmanship and God's plan are faulty, I'm not sure why you think Noah was facing God's judgment? He was safe and secure by being placed out of harms way inside the ark. Jesus promised to return and collect us and take us to where He is...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

I didn't answer before because I find the question nonsensical and therefore don't know how to answer. Timing is irrelevant as I'm with the Lord 24/7 now and am content whether I'm here or there. (earth or heaven) About the only time I consider a resurrection body would be nice now is when I'm...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

Noah wasn't in the water and lot wasn't in Sodom so not sure how you figure they were in the judgment.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

Noah was taken out of the flood and placed in the Ark and Lot was taken out of Sodom. The resurrection of the Church is not about being removed from suffering, it is about being removed from God's judgement.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

You haven't told me why you see it as harmful to the faith.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

I've heard this argument before but I fail to see how it is harmful. People fail in prosperity as much, if not more, than they fail in persecution. It's God's basic MO to remove His people from judgment (Noah from the flood, lot from Sodom), how can that be harmful?

Powerful --Powerful ---Teaching Sermon on Identifying Your Enemy ---from David Jeremiah

Yes, Satan wears a disguise of light, not the real deal. John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. One may not always instantly recognise the evil before them but that is why we do the following and wait for direction. The Devil cannot help but give himself...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

He is saying they are inevitable, not ok. Therefore, we shouldn't get our knickers in a twist when they occur. Listen, learn, address the error and move on.

Did Jesus Have an Advantage over Pre-Fall Adam During the Incarnation?

He keeps missing the point. Christ did not live as God during the Incarnation, He lived as a man and therefore needed to have faith as any man would need in order to please God.

We are going to continue disagreeing on this issue.

Did Jesus Have an Advantage over Pre-Fall Adam During the Incarnation?

The devil is known as the accuser. (Rev.12:10) There is no accusation he can bring against Jesus Christ that is valid.

Did Jesus Have an Advantage over Pre-Fall Adam During the Incarnation?

There's a difference between not being able to sin and not wanting to sin. If it was impossible for Jesus to sin then He did not live as a man. No person is sinless because the Lord God imputed Adam's sin to all mankind. There's no reason to think that all would have sinned if we had been born...

Did Jesus Have an Advantage over Pre-Fall Adam During the Incarnation?

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Makes me wonder what you think of Christ's humanity. You said yourself He lived as a man yet you think this man didn't need...
