But I believe I hear ya in what you're sayin Wisebeardman, and I believe you would be justified.
As I know that I would feel the same as you were it my loved one.
It is agreed those men definitely deserve their punishment for what they've done to that poor girl, I dont dispute that fact.
Yet at the same time
if one ever choose to become an agent of wrath, one must also realize they will have to answered to God for it,
just as King David, even though he may have been justified was still required to Answer to God for all he'd done.

It should also be considered that if anyone chose to appoint themselves as judge and executioner, that it also be wise to consider that if one were to plan and carry out the act after the fact(as opposed to during self-defense) they may also be robbing God of any vengeance he may have had planned by beating him to the punch and stealing his thunder.
If they're dead theyve already been avenged, in fact some have a deathwish and don't care.
We should be cautious before telling God how its gonna be or to suggest that he "sit this one out, I got this"
Although letting one to remain living a life of turmoil until the Lord fully reveals to someone their wrongdoings, and they begin to endure guilt and anguish for realizing what they've done, reliving it in their mind day after day longing for death as if it would be a greater relief but it doesnt come... that is when their real punishment begins until the point they either:
1. seek Gods mercy and forgiveness pleading like a scared child who may get locked up in the dark basement for eternity
2. or they can no longer live with themselves
Look at the reason Judas ended up hanging himself
There's a man goin' round takin names,

He will be a terror to those who do not yet fear him, as even the authorities God places are a terror for bad conduct
