Hey I'm starting up my 1st Bible Study group soon and I have never done one before. Does anybody have any tips or ideas that will help me make it a good study.

Helmet, baseball bat, sidearm. Just kidding.

If the group is for discussing don't do all the talking. Prepare some questions. If folks are slow to respond, just wait it out a lil.

Don't let one person dominate.

Don't let people blame their rambling rants on the Holy Spirit moving. It's just them rambling and wasting time.

Pray.

If you don't know an answer, say you don't know and move on. Bring the answer next time u meet.

Try not to let them get caught up on trivial obscure topics. The bible is meant to make us like Jesus, not.for material.to talk about obscure trivialities.

do anybody truly know y many live as enemies of the cross of Christ?
God is so good, how can anyone harden that hearts not to believe!

Let everyone talk amongst themselves for a few minutes before hand. After the study, welcome people to stay for activities or to go out and do something.
