Report : UNICEF STATISTICS
"A recent report by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) forecasts that if current trends persist, one in every four people on the planet will be African by the year 2100.
Even accounting for a decline in fertility brought on by greater prosperity, UNICEF predicts that by 2050 alone, the number of Africans under the age of eighteen may swell to around one billion."
It looks like Africans are going to give the Chinese a run for their money in terms of sheer population size.
However; in thirty five years the Chinese will have jobs, the worlds largest economy, perhaps the world's most powerful military, etc...: what will a billion Africans have and how will this affect Western nations?
Consider that more Africans have legally immigrated to the U.S. in the last decade than during the 300 years of the slave trade!
