This weekend is going to bring me many challenges. I am beginning to walk in some new things and I know this weekend will be a test. I need Gods strength and to hear His voice clearly.

Father, you have adopted me as your daughter. You have called me your own and place in the place and time in life I find myself in. You say that your sheep hear your voice and they know you. So I come as your sheep and ask you to help me hear as heed your words. Burn away my pride. Cut away my fear. For in you is all I need. Grant me grace to hear wisdom. Grant me grace to follow you in which ever way you lead me. Grant me the grace to be completely sure and comforted by what you ask of me even if its hard. Help me, Jesus, to live as the new creation you created in me when I first sought you. Give me self-control and boldness. Grant me the grace to surrender everything, to live my life with open hands and a willing heart that is recklessly abandoned to you.
Father, you are a mighty God. Christ is my only hope of glory. Father, you are all-powerful and all-knowing and all-merciful. And in Christ these are all my inheritance.

And the attitude in your prayer shows it. If this is about that retreat, I would not change a word of that prayer, and I've been watching God move in power at these things for a lifetime.
 
Praying in agreement .. Lifting all pertaining to you to the Lord .. He has you right in his hand baby girl ..
