Yesterday morning I touched up my manicure right before leaving for church. As Sunday a.m. worship leader, one of my responsibilities is to make sure everything looks nice up front and is ready for the service. While lighting the candles on the communion table, I learned how NOT to hold the lighter if you've just painted your nails because I caught my thumbnail on fire. :) Gave the Pastor a chuckle.

jajaja!!! My brother set my mothers hair on fire during the Cristmas candle light service one time when he was a kid. People said she ws the brightest candle there.

My dad was once singing in the Christmas choir when a white fluffy cloud hung from the ceiling as decoration fell and landed right on his head, momentarily turning him into George Washington.
No one in the crowd seemed to notice except for my family, who spent the rest of the night stifling snickers.

I had worked until 5:00 am Sunday morning (Air Force duty) on the 3 of July, 1976. I also sang bass in the choir and we were doing several pieces for Juy 4th. I fell asleep in the choir loft and when it came time to sing, another bass poked me in the ribs. I jumped up and yelled "I'm awake!" It cracked everyone up. :o

When my son was 4 years old I went to see him in a VBS program. The song they sang was "Zaccheus". When they got to the part where the song said, "And Jesus said, Zaccheus, you come down!", my son fell down a couple of the stairs because he was really getting into it :) Went to lunch with a friend of mine last Sunday who was there at the time and we still laugh about it. :)
