I saw some men holding up a sign outside of my job that said, ''JESUS SAVES,'' some people didn't look at the sign too well, and started dumping money into their buckets.
But right under, ''Jesus saves,'' were the words, ''DRUG RESTORATION!!''
WHAT??
Those dudes had to scoot!!
They tried to uses som fancy word like restoration to make it sound good, but Jesus doesn't restore drugs!!!
Many church preachers are the same way. They have a catch title, and people don't read the rest of the sign, and start dumping money into their little buckets, but right after that catchy title, they are full of error and deceit.
These men use Jesus's name to make money. They want your money, not your salvation.
Let me make it clear to you. Jesus saves us from sin. That means sin in you. Sin that is in your own heart. And he doesn't save you to continue in sin.
If you think you are a good person, how often do you sin, even in thought?
Jesus Christ is good, and no man can be saved from sin unless Jesus saves them. He is the only way to save one from sin.
Really people, you have to read the rest of the sign.
Don't trust people to lead you to Jesus, SEEK HIM FOR YOURSELF! AND YOU WILL FIND HIM!!
