Among my first abilities as a child – was to believe that “if I cried, someone would hear and feed me”, or “someone would change my diaper”!
Later, after becoming more mature my ability also increased. When I saw something I liked – I simply screamed MINE, MINE, MINE...
Later, after maturing even more, my ability to make decisions increased even further. This allowed me to make better decisions such as: I need to turn left at the next intersection.
The really sad thing is that my abilities were all about me, never about God!

If you are ever going to truly believe God, love God, and put your trust in God – then you must receive a brand new enhanced ability which comes from God as He renews us. Once your receive this gift, then you will turn to God in true faith.

And NO, this gift is not given to everyone!

yet Daddy, Father, Papa is still willing, desiring to give it to us all. Father waiting patiently for sincerity and having not motives of any self gain in believing God
That is why some get it and others not yet. Yet all will be presented the truth and each will consciously know truth and then decide to believe God or not, between God and themselves
personally
Some, today act this out as if got it, and the motive is sitting in Moses's seat for rewards from the people. Watch out! for that to not become the only reward
Father, I trust you to do as I believe you know best and want best for us all
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Life everlasting in God's spirit and Truth, for you, you, you and y'all too
Believe God, God wants what is best for us each. So you ask and you do not get

Could it be it is not good for you to get that? could you be asking with wrong motives

You decide between God and you, thank you

Yes, that's really sad, if true. You must have been a particularly selfish and self-obsessed person, But it would be a mistake on your part to assum4e that everyone has been like you. That would be the logical fallacy of hasty generalisation.

(Folks ought to answer questions that are begged :^)

I have made no assumptions concerning you and I'm happy to hear that you were born in perfection and came to God in your own strength!

You just assumed that I came to God in my own strength {alone]. So, it is not true that you have made no assumptions concerning me.
