Galatians 3:5-14
5 I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
6 In the same way, "Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith." 7 The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God.
8 What's more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would declare the Gentiles to be righteous because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, "All nations will be blessed through you." 9 So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.
10 But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, "Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God's Book of the Law." 11 So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life." 12 This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says, "It is through obeying the law that a person has life."
13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

(The Bible is filled with scriptures that have principles which share one side of any given subject. if taken as one part then it would seem contradicting, but that is only the case if you see in part and in carnality. in spirit you can see both sides in full a bigger picture and no there is not nor could be any contradiction in God or his written inspired word.)

(Before I get to the subject matter, let it be known that these illustration pertain to belief in God specifically and is an example of how throughout the bible there are two sides that make one whole in every category. Test the spirits by the Spirit and line the word up by the word for yourself. I am merely revealing a few points that the Holy Spirit has shown to me, and thus not declaring that all must adhere to my point of view.)

(for sake of condensing large topics with lots of grounds to cover we will only spend A portion of time per view.) (also these will be verse segments not always full chapters so don't bash)

(so to break it down by category lets first start with the topic of faith)

Faith according to the bible is as described in Hebrews 11:1-12
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. 2 Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
4 It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel's offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.
5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—"he disappeared, because God took him." For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. 6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about things that had never happened before. By his faith Noah condemned the rest of the world, and he received the righteousness that comes by faith.
8 It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. 9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. 10 Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.
11 It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. 12 And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead—a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them. (NLT)

(faith is defined in the greek/Hebrew dictionary as NT:4102
NT:4102
<START GREEK>pi/sti$
<END GREEK> pistis (pis'-tis); from NT:3982; persuasion, i.e. credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly, constancy in such profession; by extension, the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself:
KJV - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity. )
(Trust is
NT:4100
<START GREEK>pisteu/w
<END GREEK> pisteuo (pist-yoo'-o); from NT:4102; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), i.e. credit; by implication, to entrust (especially one's spiritual well-being to Christ):
KJV - believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.)

English definition of faith: Noun 1. A strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny 2. Loyalty or allegiance to a cause or a person
English definition trust: Verb 1. Have confidence or faith in 2. Allow without fear Noun: 3. The trait of believing in the honesty and reliability of others 4. Certainty based on past experience

(do you see the pattern? Faith is accepting. Believing is indorsing both go hand in hand, you can't have one without the other. in fact I would even say they are the same thing.)

So then Galatians 3:5-14 could be read as God designed A system because God has A plan. everything has already been laid out, the program is complete. what then is our participation in it? that is simple! it is to get with the program: that is to say accept God's invitation. our part is to accept and all that follows will be included.

Galatians 3:6-7
6 In the same way, "Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith." 7 The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God.

(Every place you see the word faith or Believe you can replace it with the word accept or trust.)

Matthew 21:18-22
In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry, 19 and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" And immediately the fig tree withered up.
20 The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?"
21 Then Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don't doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. 22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it."

Mark 5:35-36
35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe .
KJV

Matthew 14:33
So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink . "Save me, Lord!" he shouted.
31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. "You have so little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?"
32 When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped. 33 Then the disciples worshiped him. "You really are the Son of God!" they exclaimed.
NLT

John 6:28-29
28 They replied, "We want to perform God's works, too. What should we do?"
29 Jesus told them, "This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent."
NLT

(see the pattern?) (okay so lets see get into the portion of Faith that seems divided between *Works* and *Grace*)
