Hello Everyone, its great to be back on Christian Chat

One thing over the Easter Break that i found really annoyed me was the lack of christianity around me, This upset me greatly as people just don't realise the greatness of the one true God! I was in a park with my young cousins playing and these young children started to hit my youngest cousin, this made me mad because I watched the whole thing and my young cousin did absoultly nothing wrong to this guy! I ended up having to involve myself by controlling the young boy, but who do you blame for circumstances like this i mean obviously the boy started it, but is this the parents fault?? This frustrated me and all i can pray about is for those young boys to find peace with the lord and sort themselves out!!
The youth of today is shocking, I live in a little town and the amount of children on the streets is so sad to see, where are the parents, why are they happy to leave their young children out and about on the street, When i become a father the one thing i am lookin forward to doing is playing and communicating, advising and enjoying spending quality time with them, God would not wnt to see his children be treated with so little respect for themselves and by their parents!

I will end on my daily verse by Billy Graham "unto the hills"

" In or sufferiengs and tribulations Jesus himself must be our chief consideration. We must fix our eyes upon him. He who suffered for us shows us how we are to bear our sufferings."

All I ask fellow christians is advice on how this can be stopped is there something we christians can do except pray to stop this from happening

God bless

Jonno :)

Wow Jonno it sounds like you have a Big heart with Jesus in it! Yes the world can be a place of suffering but no matter the situation and what it may look like God has His eyes on those kids. I do agree with you about having an issue with the parents but when lead to pray for them and continue to be a shining light in your area and when you become a father someday I know you will set an awesome example for your family and those around you. In the mean time find a way if you are lead by God to do so reach out to your community somehow and maybe helped those kids with an activity provided through the church or something or just spend time with them playing ball and tell them about the love of Jesus. It sounds like you would do a great job doing that! You are blessed to be a blessing and I am moved within to know someone out there has their eyes on the lost and wandering. That is God in you caring for those little ones! BE BLESSED BRO!

The fact is that we have sin in our world and the only thing we can do about it is pray for others. Everyone says "kids these days" but to be perfectly honest we are just as cruel today as we were hundreds of years ago. Social acceptance of abandoning children, sexual relations, and cursing maybe be more popular in the past 50 years but if we go back further in history it really hasn't changed. People still had slaves, mistresses, and cruel entertainment.

Its the snowball effect, we believe in our day and age we're civilized so we have to act according to the rules of the world. For example, the children of the sixties believed in free love they became parents so they didn't teach their children morals so their childrens children didn't... This is a history lesson I was taught in school long ago. Many Christians from all sorts of bad persecution thought things were so bad that Jesus would be coming back soon...its the same today.

There will always be a people who stand up for Christ.

Maybe God is convicting you to do something about it. Like, start an after school program or a club or something. I think if you let Him God will move you in mighty ways.
