My alarm clock gives me a heart attack. I knew it wasn't good for me, but is there an ulternative that don't include pets?

In our nine to five world (here in the States, at least), many of us live by an alarm clock. Waking up to sudden and loud cacophony can be bad for your health, however.

How alarming! Your bedside clock could be bad for your health | Daily Mail Online

I realize the text is small, so if need be, enlarge the font in your web browser settings or simply use the zoom feature.
My alarm clock isn't very loud. I sometimes fear it isn't loud enough. My boss would be displeased if I didn't regularly show up for work on time. Happy Easter.

I dont know how bad it is for health to hear the annoying cacophonic alarm sounds, but I do know not to put the songs that I like as alarm melody anymore. The experienced know why! ;)

I use my cell phone's alarm because it has a song that starts out very softly, and then grows a little louder so it doesn't frighten me out of sleep. I love that! My cat used to wake me up by bumping my nose with her paw but I don't have her anymore. That was a really awesome way to wake up to feel her soft furry tap-tap-tap on my nose. LOLOL
