i like to travel a lot... i enjoy experiencing different cultures... i like pushing myself beyond my own boundaries just so i can see and explore what i can do and hope to be a better me in the process...
i guess you can say... i wanted to get to know myself more and try to love myself more... and in the process get to know my God in a personal level since being far from the comfort of my friends and family makes me realize how much God is taking care of me...
the downside of doing so is that each day is a struggle... there are nights when you'll cry yourself to sleep because you feel so alone...
i lived in a place where people didn't speak English... why? like i said, i like challenging myself to do things people didn't expect i could do... i learned a lot about myself and had the opportunity to know first hand what it meant when God said that He will never leave me nor forsake me... in time, i was confident and became a better version of me as a person and as a Christian...
then i thought, maybe it's time to go somewhere a lot farther from home and hope to learn something even more about myself and God... and so i did...
but like i said, each day is a struggle... there are times i wanted to give up... there are times i wanted to come home... but at the same time i am reminded that being in this place was never part of my plan... God used someone to convince me to come here... and so even though i ask God a thousand times why He led me here and not some other place i wanted to be... i remind myself that God led me here for a reason... i may not know it now... but in His time... it will...
in this life, i will fail and keep on failing... and maybe i would never know the reason why... but maybe knowing that God wants me here is enough reason for me to make another step forward...
