Father i am at the end of me
i am stretched beyond all i comprehend
i am empty now
you are all i know

why does it take me getting to such a place
to realize that i will never be clever enough
to slide by your watchful gaze
Father i am done leaning upon my own understanding

my plans
do they come from you
or have i been deceived by my own foolish heart
i always run to you in the end
and you are always there
