We're all here for some purpose. However the main purpose is to Praise our Lord, our Savoiur, our God! You cook, well that is something God can use in your life as well as massaging. Remember that He is the Potter, you and I are the clay! We have to be willing to wait for His perfect timing and He will make us what He wants us to be. He can and does take a wreck, (like Me) and makes something beautiful and useful to Him! As for you getting old, no way dude :) Your still young:)

God Bless Brother :)

In serving Jesus, its not always about what you do.
Scripture says: do all things as unto the Lord and not unto men.
It is in doing all things and giving all we do unto Jesus, God Our Father that gives glory to and serves Him. :)
Praying for you in Jesus that the joy of His service will be shown to you. :)

God bless.

I only read the title. But I think this was enough to give you an answer because that's a question we all struggle with when we don't get the message of the gospel.

So I'm going to start harsh... No, we're not good enough to do God's will on ourselves.
If we even think to be good enough we fool ourselves because we absolutely can't do His will.
BUT yes, Jesus is good enough to do His will.
He is good enough to make you do His will. The blessing beyond this is that we don't have to strive to be good enough enymore. We're either saved and sanctified or we're trying to sanctify ourselves or justify our acts and we have no clue of the fact that this isn't going to work out with God.

He loved you so much that He is there for you. Doing His will is a blessing and a miracle on itself. But it's about Him.

Much grace and love in Christ

God does not always call the qualified, but God always equips the ones that he call's.

Change your mindset about what 'doing God's will' mean. Stop comparing yourselves to others and think that you need to be preacher or be a missionary in order to fulfill God's will because that may not be true. God can use anyone and he can use them in surprising ways.
Have you ever considered that maybe exactly who you are and where you are is God's will for you?
I have learnt recently that God does not need to send me out right now for there are still people around me, my family, my friends, the people I work and study with who needs me where I am...

“I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love to one another will prove to the world that you are my diciples”. I don't know what you can or can't do but for sure you can love. So start with love and start showing your light in your everyday life... I pray so that God will use you in that way...

God Bless.

God calls all sinners to come home....

One thing that matters is knowing that our Lord is found walking and talking with sinners! When you give witness that you have nothing to boast in except the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, than you have a good understanding of why Jesus gave His life so that we might live in Him. Something needs to come from your mouth that speaks of what Jesus did for a sinner like you. I cannot do this for you. You ask a good question.
