I think we would be naive in GB and the U.S to think terrorist Islam does not have its soldiers hidden in our midst waiting to bring the terror we see on the news overseas right into our midst here.
All they have to do is get the order or feel compelled of their own accord. Remember the shootings that took place on military bases in America? Ft.Hood made the first news, when a psychologist who was a terrorist and had been monitored by the FBI for over a year as he visited so called radical Islam websites, opened fire and killed unarmed soldiers.

If they're on our bases, we must presume they're in our neighborhoods. And gathering in Mosques.

I saw a PBS documentary about Islam and the concerns a Muslim woman had for the tenor of teachings the Imam there was delivering to the congregation. She voiced them in front of the documentary film crew and was almost physically attacked by an elderly Muslim woman. But to his credit a man held her back.
The Imam said it wasn't his responsibility to tell Muslim men how to interpret their faith and the inspirations they receive from Allah. And he certainly didn't condemn the radical message the woman was concerned about.
