There are many type of Amish, but the three main groups I know of are 1) Old Order Amish (which have some questionable beliefs)
2) New Order Amish who use electricy a little more than the Old Order, but other than that live the same way, but are very evangelical in deep in the faith of Christ.
3) The Beachy Amish, who have similiar views of the New Order Amish, but use cars, as well as items, but still dress in the Old Ways.
But this is definitely a hard life for anyone to live, but at the same time a very simple life.

I LOVE THE OLD FASHIONED SIMPLE WAY. I WOULD IF I HAD TO CHOOSE. TO ME NOTHING MORE IS IMPORTANT THAN FAMILY. WHO CARES ABOUT POLISHING FURNITURE ALL DAY, AND DRIVES TO THE GAS STATION, NO WHERE TO PUT ALL THE SHOES, AND THINGS. I WOULD LOVE TO OWN A HORSE ANYWAY. MY MOM USED TO LIVE THIS WAY IN THE UKRAINE IN A VILLAGE. THERE WAS NO RUNNING WATER, BUT A WELL, AND LOTS OF TIME NOT TO WORRY ABOUT EARTHLY POSSESSIONS.
