ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE
6 One daythe angels[a] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan alsocame with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satananswered the Lord, “From roaming through the earth and going back and forth init.”
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered myservant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, aman who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put ahedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed thework of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everythinghe has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in yourpower, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Please notice this, Satan; theDevil has no power except what is allowed by God. In otherwords Evil cannot harm you, you belonging to God, Notice Job stayed trusting Godand even counselors tried to convince Job differently. Read the whole storyslowly asking God to reveal truth to you.
Please understand that God knows if you do trust God ornot, once you do put your faith in God whom you do not see you are smotheredand covered in God, yourmaterialistic things might go, be destroyed, your family might be destroyed, and this part depends on what they depend on, whether it be God or not, as forme I depend on God to take care of me, and I will work, not of this world, butof God, who said all of my needs will be taken care of, just trust God, seek toknow God, and in all things that happen, you will learn truth, the truth thatsets you free. Knowing this you can now welcome trials and tribulations, knowing you have something to learn from God, today through Christ whom hasredeemed you to God the Father himself through the last sacrifice and sheddingof blood, which is what Job looked forward to saying that he knew his redeemerlives, speaking of the coming of Christ our savior of mankind.
Do you everfeel this way as Job, Job 19
Job 19Today's New International Version (TNIV)
2 “How longwill you torment me and crush me with words? 3 Ten times now you havereproached me; shamelessly you attackme. 4 If it is true that I have gone astray, my error remains my concern alone.
5 If indeedyou would exalt yourselves above me and use my humiliation against me, 6 thenknow that God has wronged me and drawn his net around me. 7 “Though I cry, ‘Violence!’ I get noresponse; though I call for help, there is no justice. 8 He has blocked my wayso I cannot pass; he has shrouded my paths in darkness.
9 He hasstripped me of my honor and removed the crown from my head. 10 He tears me downon every side till I am gone; he uproots my hope like a tree.
11 His angerburns against me; he counts me among his enemies. 12 His troops advance inforce; they build a siege ramp against me and encamp around my tent. 13 “He hasalienated my family from me; my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.14 My relatives have gone away; my friends have forgotten me. 15 My guests andmy female servants count me a foreigner; they look on me as on a stranger. 16 Isummon my servant, but he does not answer, though I beg him with my own mouth.
17 My breathis offensive to my wife; I am loathsome to my own family. 18 Even the littleboys scorn me; when I appear, they ridicule me. 19 All my intimate friendsdetest me; those I love have turned against me. 20 I am nothing but skin andbones; I have escaped only by the skin of my teeth. 21 “Have pity on me, myfriends, have pity, for the hand of God has struck me. 22 Why do you pursue meas God does? Will you never get enough of my flesh? 23 “Oh, that my words wererecorded, that they were written on a scroll, 24 that they were inscribed withan iron tool on lead, or engraved in rock forever!
25 I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. 26 And after my skin has beendestroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; 27 Imyself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!28 “If you say, ‘How we will hound him, since the root of the trouble lies inhim, 29 you should fear the sword yourselves; for wrath will bring punishmentby the sword, and then you will know that there is judgment.
Notice and read the chaptersbefore this to get this in context for Job is talking to the counselors!! Ithink we all need to hear from god inour own hearts, leding us in the path ofunconditional love how about you?
