The Skin Im In
The skin I'm in is it really me.
Or is it a shell hiding who I'm suppose to be?
Fighting wars that's not worth fighting
Shedding tears that's not worth crying.
Trying to live up to expectations
With the worries that i might fail.
Expecting me to be greater than
who i really am.
Don't add to my mistakes
I know they wont disappear or go away.
it might take time
but just put the past behind
I cant make promises that don't exist
Its still isn't right to think all my feelings are dismissed.
