Many Christians are changing their profile pics to the Arabic letter N to bring awareness to persecuted Iraqi Christians. This letter has been painted on Christian homes and churches in Iraq to mark it for destruction by the Islamic State (IS) (formerly ISIS). "N" is short for Nazarene (a term ISIS uses to refer to Christians).
When we make other Christians aware of the problem in Iraq, they can take steps to help the persecuted Iraqi Christians. They can research the devastation, pray for the persecuted, emailtheir representative, and give to organizations providing food to Iraqi refugees.
Lord, I thank You that You have put Your Spirit in Your children as a seal. I pray Your blessing on all of Your children who treat their brothers and sisters in Christ as their very own. We praise Your awesome Name. In Christ's Name, Amen.
