If you are Born again yes, it doesnt matter what denomination you are in... many people read and try and follow the word of God and please yet they are not saved. I think sometimes we too easy forget this in our efforts to please everyone?

Now I admit I have not regularly been to church for many years, But when I did it was always Protestant churches. I actually went to a denomination which would be known as fundamentalist and stood on the absolute innerancy of the Bible. They said it must all be followed without deviation. And yet I never once heard preached what you and I both believe. In fact I have never heard preached in any Protestant church what you and I fully believe, and some others do here as well.
The church I went to was highly thought of in its denomination. I suppose what I am saying is. If Catholics may not go to Heaven because of wrong teaching. I am only being honest here, but if Protestant churches do not preach what is clearly written in the New Testament won't they be in the same position?
Can they say we are closer to the message so we are ok? I went on a UK Christian website and put up about eight scriptures which if anytyhing has to be the heart of the Apostle Paul's message. I asked if anyone on the website had ever heard any of these things preache on. No-one replied. And the Protestants definately outnumbered the Catholics.
Please do not be offended, I am only being honest. If the main reason that we feel Catholics promote a works based Gospel, I would honestly have to say that they are certainly not the only denomination that in effect promotes this. I fully accept that it may be in their canon, and no Protestant church may have this written down, but I'm sorry from what I have seen Protestant churches are in the main no differant. And actually a woman on another website commented that the two churches furthest away from accepting the Grace you and I both believe in are at the opposite ends of the spectrum, strangely enough.
If I encompass Protestants I don't feel I can ignore Catholics, though there was a time I would have felt differantly.
One more thing. I wrote a document on what I believe is the Gospel message. I sent it to eight born again Protestant churches. I explained it was on the internet for others to read, I said that I appreciated the gravity of promiting falsehood concerning the Gospel. Bearing that in mind I kindly asked them if someone could look over the document and advise me if there was anything wrong wth it in their opinion. None of them replied.
