Hi everyone,

I’ve been researching hormone balance supplements for women and I’m curious about other people’s experiences. There are so many products claiming to help with mood swings, PMS, irregular cycles, fatigue, weight gain, and even perimenopause symptoms.

Ingredients like maca root, chasteberry (Vitex), DIM, and ashwagandha seem to come up often.

Do these supplements actually work, or is it mostly marketing? Are they safe to take long term?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried them or discussed them with a healthcare provider. What results (good or bad) did you notice?

Hello,

I came across this next interview Dr Josh Axe is going to air soon. It's on your subject and might answer questions you have.

5 minutes in and this is already very informative and interesting.
I might actually try and read Wheat Belly again (think I've tried but never read more than a few intro pages)

I'm glad you are getting something from it.

Another one that is really good on the subject of Wheat is No Grain No Pain by Dr Peter Osborne.

Here's a short on hormonal issues. The part I like is that she quickly lists potential contributors. I don't however agree with the last part about solutions. I've heard of too many MDs giving estrogen and this leads to many other issues. MDs then just add multiple drugs to deaden symptoms but not get to the root of the problem(s).

Have a blessed day!

I went through years of infertility and none of the hormone supplements helped (I tried many). Also you have to be careful bc some raise estrogen, etc. Im estrogen dominant and have endometriosis so not good for me.

I will say serrapetase was recommended and the only thing I swear by if you have an ovarian cyst or endometriosis cyst. It is the enzyme from the silkworm that breaks down it's cocoon. It eats away any nonliving tissue, hence a cyst. I like that one bc I understand it and it does help in my case.
