Are you easily angry? Fear Jesus and throw out every evil plan.
I know that, in many cases, we have a sensible reason to get angry. Nevertheless, see how harmful can be the wrath:
• Proverbs 14:17 -> “He who is soon angry acts foolishly, and a man of wicked plots is hated.”;
• Pro 14:29 -> “He who is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he who is hasty of spirit exalts folly.”;
• Pro 15:18 -> “A wrathful man stirs up fighting, but one slow to anger calms fighting.”;
• Pro 29:22 -> “An angry man stirs up fighting, and a furious man abounds in sin.”;
• Ecc 7:9 -> “Do not be hasty in your spirit to be angry; for anger rests in the bosom of fools.”;
And the worst is that:
• Jas 1:20 -> “For the wrath of man does not work out the righteousness of God.”.
Not only this. Those who are used to getting angry can end up acting in a cruel way:
• Isa 32:7 -> “Also the weapons of the fool are evil; he thinks of wicked ways to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.”.
It isn’t in vain that the Creator hates this kind of demeanor:
• Pro 6:16,18 -> “These six Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul: a heart that plots wicked plans, feet hurrying to run to evil,”.
With the wrath comes bad thoughts and, thereby, the Creator’s judgment:
• Pro 12:2 -> “The good gets grace from Jehovah, but He will condemn a man of wicked thoughts.”.
Hence the Creator advises us:
• Jas 1:19 -> “Therefore, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”
• Pro 22:24,25 -> “Make no friendship with an angry man; and you shall not go up with a man of fury, lest you learn his ways and get a snare to your soul.”.
Can you be sure:
• Pro 16:32 -> “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit is better than he who takes a city.”.
So, have a good day planning only good things. Don’t allow that the turpitude of people steal of you Jesus’ peace, love, joy, mercy, hope.
