Are you going through some ordeal or predicament? (Part 1)

If yes, the best medicine is to know Christ’s love:

• Eph 3:14,16,19 -> “For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He would grant you … … to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.”

We only will be able to be fraught with all the fullness of God if we know this love. I know that, amidst so great turpitude and vicissitudes of the life, there are moments that it is difficult to believe that Jesus is close and seeing everything. After all, if He loves us, why, apparently, doesn’t He do something?

However, how nigh are we of everything that He wish for us? Analyze the verses below:

1 - Eph 1:3 -> “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;”

Are you expecting to receive “material” blessings in the “world”? So, it is for this that you are subject to be frustrated. Instead of giving petty things, He bestow to you something much more complete: “spiritual blessing” in the “heavenly places”, which allow you to experiment the good, perfect and delightful will of the Creator (Rom 12:2) without any grief (Prov 10:22).

2 - 2Pe 1:3,4 -> “according as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue, through which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

For what do you wish the Creator’ blessing?

• To sate your “flesh covet” or to be full of “life and goodliness”?
• To get knowledge of all good and evil that this world has to offer or to have more intimacy with Jesus (to know Him more deeply)?
• To partake of the feasts, banquets, meetings of the high society, etc., or to partake of the purity and holiness that there is in the divine nature?

Have a good day mulling other this. Tomorrow we will continue.
